So, yesterday was World Wide Knit In Public (WWKIP) Day. My original intentions were to kidnap Ames and go up to the State Museum and join the knitters there. However, gas prices (roughly 4.17/gal) and the distinct lack of cash changed those plans for me. So, instead, I went over to her summer job at the fireworks shop and knit in public there with her for a few hours. There were some customers too, so there were witnesses even.

Ames was working on a garter stitch dishcloth. I started another pair of cuffs. Now, I'm thinking she might have rather been working on crocheting something, but it was WWKIP and not WWCIP day, so she just had to suck it up lol.
And while I would have rather worked on my tunic, it is at a stage where portability is limited.

Here's proof that we were actually in the same place at the same time and not just holding the needles to look pretty.

Ok so much to digest where to begin oh yea your in a dress wow.Y'all do realize you don't looked thrilled in you pictures don't ya?But it is nice to see Amy giving that look to someone other then me lol.Do let her know I did check out my camera later an there were no Iffy pictures on it.By the way did I get two of the quotes right?
Yep, you got two of the quotes right.
I've got my normal expression on my face, I think. Either that or the brat just said something that broke my brain.
Oh yea how did I pick up on her body language? Was it her literal wringing of the hands, maybe? The many times she looked at her watch, could be?All the times she checked his gift box,who knows? No wait it was the way she sprawled across the counter when ever a car went by or might go by accompanied by the "Oh where is my boy at". Yep that might have done it.
Is the one quote from an Monty Python? the one with other an father
Checked out you tunic picture.Very nice. I'm very impressed. So how many hours do you have, excuse the pun, tied up in it?
Two months' worth. If you condense it all, prolly between 3 days and a week straight. Guesstimating...
